History of digital watches:
We can very well remember about the first session of science fiction movies during the year 1968s. Basically, those science fiction movies gave the inspiration to invent digitalized watches. During that time wall clocks were not available from home to home. People used to use watches. So, in the year of 1970s we got the first digital / electronic pocket watch. The first digital pocket watch had to pushed a button to see the time as there was a red light-emitting diode to show the time, and the light stayed for a few seconds as it used to take a lot of energy.
Later of the period liquid crystal dial had been added to save the battery power. During that time digital pocket watches were a matter of fantasy. After some years it became a fashion to have a pocket watch. As we know fashion comes and goes through a circle, nowadays we are looking for analogue pocket watches again. It is happening because of traditional view. But, all of us are very busy. We forget to pole the key round to fix the time now and then, and that’s why we don’t like to keep pocket watch with us though we buy it for a highlighted personality. So, digital pocket watch is the only thing which understands us for this present busy world.
